OUR STORY
TONAK a.s. is a Czech manufacturer of hats and caps based in Novy Jicin and Strakonice. Since 1799, it has been one of the most important European manufacturers of headwear.
NOVY JICIN
In Novy Jicin, for example, Jewish hats for America and Israel, fez for Muslim countries, felt hats for Japan, or black bowler hats for Indian women in Peru and Bolivia are produced.
STRAKONICE
The traditional brand Fezko Strakonice, famous for its production of fez, knitted berets and caps, merged with the Novx Jicin factory in 2001. Strakonice produces popular snake hats for the African market, fashion and army berets and other knitted headwear.
